I have to say that while there were a couple of dissapoiting excerpts from the Draconomicon so far, the artwork definately balances the book out.
The artwork for this book is simply breathtaking and they also contain a few spoilers on what other dragons that we will find in the book (I think that's a Shadow Dragon and a coautl/dragon hybrid)
Just like in the previous edition of the Draconomicon, the dragon anatomy makes another appearance and Todd Lockwood's hand in some of the art is recognisable which is a good thing in my book.
The map gallery has a handful of lairs. Some are marked but the unmarked ones should be useful as generic maps.
Here's a few of my favorite from the art gallery. They're just filled with awesome!
