Eberron Campaign Guide Excerpts: Introduction & Aundair
Once again the first excerpt for the Eberron Campaign Guide starts off with the introduction. Only this time, every excerpt is accompanied together with a description of a region.
The introduction describes the cosmology of the setting with the three progenitor dragons (Siberys, Eberron and Khyber) and how does the 4E cosmology fit into it.
The Astral Sea is now above Siberys, the Elemental Chaos is below Khyber and the Shadowfell and Feywild along with the Dal Quor (Realm of Dreams) are alongside Eberron. There are indications that one can actually walk into these planes without the use of rituals if they find the right path to them.
The region being highlighted in this excerpt is Aundair and it focuses on the arcane prospects in the kingdom which is very well known in Khovaire. The lore describes the history of Arcanix, the Arcane Congress, the ties between Queen Aurala and the dragonmarked houses and Aundair's magical arsenal.
